Why doesn’t Ukrainian airforce bomb the sitting ducks convoy of Russian troops by Kyiv? Why those troops are not advancing for 3-4 days? Does it mean that there is a back channel agreement?

The whole situation in Ukraine seems strange.

On one hand, we are told that there is a convoy of Russian tanks and armored vehicles some 18 miles away from the capital Kyiv. This convoy could reach Kyiv within half an hour, an hour at the most, however it did not move for 3-4 days. Clearly, it was given orders to stay in place and wait.

On the other hand, people watching aerial footage of the convoy are bewildered. Why Ukrainian air-force does not bomb this whole convoy of sitting ducks. One squadron of bombers with the cover of some fighter jets could bomb and destroy this whole convoy within hours. So, what is Ukrainian air-force waiting for?

To me, the only reasonable explanation is that there are back channel agreements and negotiations, where Putin is telling his convoy to stay put and Zelensky is telling his air-force to stay put. I hope journalists ask more questions of the officials in both countries, so we can understand what is going on. What do you think?
