    I don’t see why this is a problem for conservatives. It’s the result they want. So it’s out a few weeks early. Big deal. It was always going to be a huge problem for the midterms anyway. And the outcry won’t change the votes. The five Catholics will hold fast.

    Much more likely that Alito or one of his clerks leaked it, to try and prevent defections. But presumably conservatives will be content for the consequences to be the same as if the leak came from the other side.
