    I have been a computer programmer during all my life. There exists a fundamental problem of proving the validity of any software against the specifications and tasks it supposedly must fulfill. To prove validity of the software mathematically – its an ultimate goal, a dream, which cannot be realized practically for complicate software with thousands lines of source code.

    And I am speaking about the software created in a GOOD FAITH, so that the process of proving its validity must consider only UNINTENDED errors and glitches in the code in high level programming language.

    However if we suspect an INTENTIONAL sabotage in the complicate code (and in a low level routines down to hardware circuits), then it is impossible to be 100% sure even for a limited number of experts trying to detect it (IN GOOD FAITH). And it means that courts and larger public can never inspect it and elaborate their judgement on their own, but always rely on some experts (which ultimately cannot be sure too, as I explained, never mind their honesty).

    A decision to rely on software in voting machines was a SABOTAGE IN ITSELF because in tasks so critical as election, the mechanization and automation must be limited to simple sensors and electronic counters. Nothing else.

    And indeed, no human factor in the process of acquisition of ballots, no middle man between the voter and the storage box of ballots (meaning no mail-in ballots in principle)!

    Well, I didn’t understand the post above me here but all it takes is one idea to keep the idea very clear…

    And it really only takes the common sense to see that they (by-(den) is doing one thing for sure…

    They’re doing the “bringing in more boxes as time goes on…

    And that is not right!

    We need to take the boxes and stop the counting!

    This has been done long enough!

    The counting has been going on for far-far too long already!

    So …Say good-by-(den) and sorry you lose the election!

    And the Trumper has won the damned victory!

    It’s all that simple!

    So let’s get on with life!

    And I had a number in my head several weeks ago about (406)…so that has to be the electoral college!

    Good luck, Mr President, and let’s go-go-go!
