Will those 87,000 IRS agents go after the Republicans and Conservatives as they went after the reporter Matt Taibbi

Posted on | May 28, 2023 | No Comments

innocent people might be harassed by the IRS, like reporter Matt Taibbi, who is being persecuted by the Biden regime and specifically IRS for bringing the truth to the public, for alerting the public that the FBI was colluding with the Dem party and pressuring the social media companies to hide the info on apparent bribes to Bidens. IRS sent Taibbi the letter dated on Christmas day, on Sunday, demanding info. No info was required from Bidens about multi-million dollar-schemes with Chinese, Russians, Ukrainians and so many others.

This “deal” is insanity. A $4T debt ceiling increase with virtually no cuts is not what we agreed to. Not gonna vote to bankrupt our country. The American people deserve better.

Rep. Ken Buck
@RepKenBuck
I listened to Speaker McCarthy earlier tonight outline the deal with President Biden and I am appalled by the debt ceiling surrender. The bottom line is that the U.S. will have $35 trillion of debt in January, 2025. That is completely unacceptable.

More details Carthy debt ceiling deal

Posted on | May 28, 2023 | No Comments

President Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) have reached a tentative deal to raise the debt ceiling to 2025, Axios has learned from sources in both parties.

Why it matters: The deal could put Congress on track to increase the debt ceiling — and avoid a catastrophic default by the U.S. government — before the June 5 deadline laid out by Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen on Friday.

Details: The deal between Biden and McCarthy — who spent 90 minutes on the phone Saturday evening — would raise the debt ceiling until January 2025 in exchange for spending cuts and deficit reduction measures, according to sources familiar with the negotiations.

  • Spending: Non-defense discretionary spending would be kept roughly flat in 2024, with a 1% increase in 2025 and no caps on growth afterward.
  • Welfare work requirements: Changes to Temporary Needy Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and phased-in time limits for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients under age 54 until 2030. Medicaid is unchanged.
  • Defense: The plan includes $885 billion Biden sought in his 2024 budget proposal, up from just under $800 billion in the 2023 budget. Veterans Affairs spending also would be increased.
  • Permitting reform: Streamlines the environmental review process to speed up approval for new energy projects.
  • COVID aid: Claws back $29 billion in unspent COVID aid.
  • IRS funding: Rescinds $1.9 billion of the $70 billion in funding for new Internal Revenue Service agents in the Inflation Reduction Act.

My response to attacks on Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner

Posted on | May 27, 2023 | 1 Comment

Recently YahooNews.com posted some pictures of Ivanka Trump and her son at a basketball game and posted a whole ridiculous article that taking your son to a basketball game somehow means distancing yourself from the rest of the family.  Ivanka Trump’s Latest Outing Proves She’s Trying Harder Than Ever to Get Old Reputation Back (yahoo.com)

Not only the idiot author of the article, Delilah Gray, made this outlandish claim, Democrats, who posted comments, used this section to pour dirt on Ivanka and Jared. Here is my response below. I also invite others to post their responses in defending Ivanka and Jared, who are being maligned by the Dems.

“Taking your son to a basketball game does not mean distancing yourself from the family. Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump did an amazing job as senior advisors during Trump administration and I would not be surprised if they become advisors in the next one if Trump wins in 2024. Currently Trump leads Biden in the average of polls. In some polls he leads by as much as 7% (Harvard Harris poll ). Jared did an amazing job with Abraham accords (peace deal between Israel and 5 Muslim countries), stay in Mexico policies that curbed illegal immigration, trade deal with China, criminal justice reform and so much more. I want to remind other commenters, who criticize Jared, that Jared and his family have conducted a successful real estate business for decades, while Bidens were getting millions for nothing, were getting millions from Russia, Ukraine, Romania, China and other countries, all of which appear to be nothing but bribes. I believe Biden will be impeached soon for violation of oath of office and high crimes and misdemeans. Bribery is specifically listed as a high crime.”
