Obama economy nightmare

Dear Dr. Taitz:

The following letter was posted on the  Plains Radio Network Message Forum.  Ed Hale is going to try to have this car dealership owner on his program sometime this week. This man and many others just like him are being destroyed by Obama.  You probably know that they would be able to file a class action lawsuit.

Thank you,

Karen Schweiker
Arizona

Here is what the posting said, and what  the car dealer wrote:

The following letter was posted on American Thinker.
It deals with real life under Obama.

Plains Radio needs to get this guy, have him on the air, and get his message out. We need business leaders and owners, who are being trashed by the Obama administration to band together and demand action against this Usurper!

Imagine Ken, telling this gentleman, that Obama is NOT even a US Citizen!

Letter from a Dodge dealer letter to the editor

My name is George C. Joseph. I am the sole owner of Sunshine Dodge-Isuzu, a family owned and operated business in Melbourne, Florida. My family bought and paid for this automobile franchise 35 years ago in 1974. I am the second generation to manage this business.

We currently employ 50+ people and before the economic slowdown we employed over 70 local people. We are active in the community and the local chamber of commerce. We deal with several dozen local vendors on a day to day basis and many more during a month. All depend on our business for part of their livelihood. We are financially strong with great respect in the market place and community. We have strong local presence and stability.

I work every day the store is open, nine to ten hours a day. I know most of our customers and all our employees. Sunshine Dodge is my life.

On Thursday, May 14, 2009 I was notified that my Dodge franchise, that we purchased, will be taken away from my family on June 9, 2009 without compensation and given to another dealer at no cost to them. My new vehicle inventory consists of 125 vehicles with a financed balance of 3 million dollars. This inventory becomes impossible to sell with no factory incentives beyond June 9, 2009. Without the Dodge franchise we can no longer sell a new Dodge as “new,” nor will we be able to do any warranty service work. Additionally, my Dodge parts inventory, (approximately 0,000.) is virtually worthless without the ability to perform warranty service. There is no offer from Chrysler to buy back the vehicles or parts inventory.

Our facility was recently totally renovated at Chrysler’s insistence, incurring a multi-million dollar debt in the form of a mortgage at Sun Trust Bank.

HOW IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA CAN THIS HAPPEN?

THIS IS A PRIVATE BUSINESS NOT A GOVERNMENT ENTITY

This is beyond imagination! My business is being stolen from me through NO FAULT OF OUR OWN. We did NOTHING wrong.

This atrocity will most likely force my family into bankruptcy. This will also cause our 50+ employees to be unemployed. How will they provide for their families? This is a total economic disaster.

HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN IN A FREE MARKET ECONOMY IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA?

I beseech your help, and look forward to your reply. Thank you.

Does this yahoo understand that he is a franchisee of a company in bankruptcy? If the company does not cut costs ie rid themselves of unprofitable franchises then there will be no cars for anyone to sell.

The key word here is franchisee!!! Consider all the laws passed in 2006 regarding this. That is what he should be yelling about!

    Awwww, what a sob story.

Sorry buddy but that’s what happens in a capitalistic society – low performers get shut down.

In this case it is part of a bankruptcy restructuring – once again, low performers get shut down. In this case it is to prevent the shuttering of ALL the franchises and the company itself.

If you didn’t know the terms of your franchise, you’re an idiot.

If you didn’t have the sense to diversify, you’re an idiot.

Blaming Chrysler’s shitty performance on President Obama – shameless idiocy.

God, this turns my stomach, my BP is pounding in my ears. My heart goes out to the many franchised Chrysler/Dodge dealers in the same boat.
    The simple truth:
“HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN IN A FREE MARKET ECONOMY IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA?”
There is no ‘free market economy in the USA’!

Ummm…Mary, did you not read the part of his letter where he states that they are a financially viable company?

“We are financially strong with great respect in the market place and community. We have strong local presence and stability.”

The ‘capitalist’ society that you rip on…you know, that one that’s made this country the most prosperous in the history of the world…would have had a dealership like his continue to flourish. He’s been in business since 1974. Good grief. Take the blinders off and stop getting refills of the Barry Kool-Aid!

“HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN IN A FREE MARKET ECONOMY IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA?”

This is exactly what happens in a free market economy. Low producers are cut. Same thing happened several years ago with the Sears franchise in their catalog stores. Low production catalog stores got closed down.

    May 19th, 2009 @ 6:11 pm

Uh, Georgie, that’s what “free market” is.

    Low performers are culled.

I’ll bet you were one of the loudest screamers about not bailing out the auto industry.

Well, you got your wish: the alternative, which is bankruptcy – you know, reorganization. Cut the poor-performers.

Under the guise of G I V E…they take, take, take. This is, no doubt, thugocracy Chicago style. Did you wonder how out of the blue, as if he were playing pin the tail on the donkey, O’man picked FIAT to merge with Chrysler? The Italian car company, FIAT, is run by the mob. Dig a little deeper and you’ll see European car companies are VERY concerned about this merger, too.

My heart goes out to these dealers.

“We currently employ 50+ people and before the economic slowdown we employed over 70 local people.”

So this isn’t a new developement, it was happening while Bush was president. He says he had to let employees go after the downturn. That was over a year ago.

THIS IS TRULY A SORRY FUCKING THING TO SEE HAPPEN. JUST ANOTHER DEMOCRAT ENDUCED NIGHTMARE. THEY ARE THE MOST WILLING PUPPET GOVERMENT TO DATE, THAT THIS COUNTRY HAS HAD. IT IS TO BAD THAT AMERICANS CANT COME TOGETHER ANYMORE. BUT I GUESS WHEN 78 PERCENT OF THE FOOTBALL WATCHING PUBLIC VOTES FOR MICHAEL VIC TO COME BACK TO FOOTBALL AND THEY SEE NO REASON TO PUNISH HIM FOR WHAT HE DID, I GUESS THAT IS JUST ANOTHER WAY FOR THOSE OF US WHO HAVE SENSE AND MORALS TO SEE THAT WE ARE COMPLETELY SCREWED AS A NATION. EVERY DAY THERE IS A NEW REVELATION FOR US TO SWALLOW THAT IS UNBELEIVEABLE.

GEORGE JOSEPH I AM ANGRY FOR WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOU AND SO MANY OTHERS. IT IS A TUFF RAOD FOR YOU, BUT YOU ARE NOT ALONE UNFORTUNATLY AND THAT IS SAD. I WISH YOU THE BEST.

Typhoid Mary I see your back again. I guess pond scum anti-American usurper loving air bags just don’t get it. Well Mary get this, when the shit hits the fan and believe me it will, you’ll be first in line. Like it or not there are 60 million people in this country you just don’t want to piss off…..too late!

Your compassion for the dealer in Florida tells us all we need to know about you and your sociopathic low life psyche.

Your boy the usurper I hear is in need of a Chiropractor, the constant looking over his girly man shoulder, hearing the footsteps of justice gaining on him, has taken his psychotic paranoia to new levels.

He didn’t lose his dealership, he lost his Dodge franchise.
The building and land are still his.
Nothing was given away that he owned.

A franchise is an exclusive agreement whereby a dealer sells a product of a certain manufacturer.
It’s no different than Burger King or Carl’s Jr.
You don’t own those companies if you have one of their franchises.
You own your own building and are licensed to sell that maker’s product.
This car dealership can stay in business selling other makes or used cars. No one took anything away from them except an agreement from one single car maker and they have the right to say who sells their product.
If you were a manufacturer, would you not want the right to say who sells your products?
Can you imagine the craziness if makers were forced to sell their products to anyone that demanded it?

    Mary Adamson,

I wonder if you would be saying the same thing if it was ACORN that was being closed down for FRAUD. And all your LIEberals buddies workign there were jobless.

Erosionist LIEberals are such partisan hack hypocrits.

All these dealers should ORGANIZE with their employees and PROTEST, join our July Picthfork Protest we are WITH YOU and all workers, taxpayers and Constitutionalist Patriots.

Now we know why The Pretender-in-Thief said that 95% of Americans woulnd’t pay taxes. It is hard to pay taxes when you don’t have a job. It’s hard to make over $250K per yr when you don’t have a franchise.

Change and Hope or Chains & Dope?
Rise Up, Stand UP, Organize……we all need to become Community Organizers..TOGETHER WE CAN bring this USURPER to an END.

RE: Tia says: So this isn’t a new developement, it was happening while Bush was president. He says he had to let employees go after the downturn. That was over a year ago.*******So. Obama had a chance to come in and make things BETTER. That’s what he promised. Why didn’t he? Instead, he’s made things worse. Bet you didn’t think it could get any worse than Bush, huh? At some point, you know, all this became a new shitpile, and it has Obama’s name on it, not Bush’s anymore.

How do you figure?? Capitalism still includes lending & borrowing, and reorganization help through bankrupty courts. Lee Iacocca came aboard to help them….they took a loan out from the government to help them and they paid every penny back.
I actually think their problems may have started when they merged with Daimler Benz.

To Mister Blister and the rest of you idiots!

Who do you think will invest in the auto industry if they are going to get screwed over by Obama’s thugs?

Would you or anyone else spend millions to revamp a dealership if they thought they might get screwed out of there right to sell the cars from the people who just demanded you revamp? I think not!

The creditors Obama screwed and threatened, on the Chrysler deal where someone’s retirement funds! Why is the UAW fund any more important than anyone else’s retirement money? They should not be, in any society, unless it is one of corruption. The bankruptcy process was skirted to reward someone’s buddies! Many got screwed because they had a week to find a better offer or have an auction to see if there would be another offer. How many people could find 4 billion in a week? Given a month or two there may have been a good possibility to find backers, provided they think they won’t get screwed by our Gov. as well!

Why is is beneficial to Chrysler or GM to cut dealers when they are paid for the products by the dealers? We don’t have the contract copies so how do we know? I personally don’t see any clear benefit cutting these dealers! Unless it is to further the job loss and stir more crap! 180,000 jobs! How could it possibly be a good thing to lose this many jobs? The number of jobs going to China from GM is for now 20,000. Any count on how many will go to Europe / to Fiat on our dime?

Why would investor put money into the economy if Obama is going to cut their throat? They won’t! this is a terrible thing for the economy as a whole!

I have been self employed for 28 years. It does not take a masters degree to see this is all a bunch of Communism. It only takes a little wisdom. That is not the same thing as education from liberal idiots who think they are smarter than the average person who relies on God for the truth and discernment. If you screw the investors they will invest somewhere else. If business can’t borrow to get through hard times we don’t have jobs.

If you over tax business they will move or just close. Who will pay your salary? The Government? Who pays the Gov? You and I! The states that are in worst shape have all overtaxed the business and the people encouraging them to go broke or move! So the Gov has no money!

The unions had their place and when first established where a good thing, but like all power that gets to big, it becomes corrupt. Then the system goes down in disaster. When the Unions pushed for unsustainable benefits and the retired workers became more in numbers than those producing cars the system became doomed to fail! this is not about Bush, this is about corruption, verses simple economics. Business must be profitable to sustain jobs! Theft in any part of the equation is destruction! Gov. theft and corruption is the worst kind of theft and destruction!

These Communist, yes, I said Communists! who have stolen the Democratic party, our colleges and the Rino Republicans are to blame here. Not Conservatives! It is all about Power and Money! And every one of us will pay the price if this is not stopped! Many will pay with our lives!
