I am wondering: where is NOW now? Where is the National Organization for Women? Do I have to be a lesbian, a stripper sleeping with a celebrity or at the very minimum a liberal Democrat to get some support from the National Organization for Women? Where is Gloria Alride? Where is Katie Couric? Where is Barbara Walters? Where is Dianne Sawyer?
Here I am doing everything right: an immigrant who learned the language, who got a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery and a Doctor of Law, I am married for 23 years and a mother of 3 sons, I ran in the statewide election and by the time all the ballots are counted will have at least half a million people voting for me.
MSNBC mounted a vicious attack against me. Chris Matthews announced that I am a malignancy and that I need to be tied up to the stake like a witch. I am getting e-mails and comments that I need to be burned at the stake like a witch, and not one single woman from those organizations finds it compelling, not one feels that I need protection. We are talking about women’s rights in Iraq and Saudi Arabia. Look what is done to women in the United States of America, and nobody in our corrupt government or Congress or corrupt media stood up to defend me. Where is Eric Holder? Where is Napolitano? Where is my Attorney General of CA Jerry Brown? Do I have to be black or gay to get protection from law enforcement, do I have to be black or gay to get protection against hate crimes? Does it mean that a white straight woman cannot get any protection in this country?
I am asking my supporters to contact all of these organizations, governmental agancies, their Congressment and Senators, media and demand answers, demand support for me and condemnation of actions of Chris Matthews and his ilk.
