From 1987 until his appointment with the Selective Service, he was a lobbyist and in 1989, established Kindness & Chatfield Associates, a lobbying firm with former Congressman Tom Kindness [citation needed] . William A. Chatfield has served as a director of Oxygen Biotherapeutics since October 2009.
Mr. Chatfield most recently served as the Director of the U. S. Selective Service System from November of 2004 to May of 2009, having been nominated by President George W. Bush and confirmed by the U.S. Senate. He was directly responsible to the President for the management of the Selective Service System. His background includes more than 30 years of experience working with the executive and legislative branches of the Federal government. (citation needed).
Mr. Chatfield was replaced by Lawrence G. Romo who was appointed by President Obama as the 12th Director of the Selective Service System. The replacement followed an alleged conversation in which President Obama asked Mr. Chatfield to cooperate with the Administration in covering up any Selective Service records being sought by Orly Taitz and other birthers. When Mr. Chatfield allegedly refused to go along in participating in the cover up, he was replaced by Mr. Romo. (citation missing). The circumstances of Mr. Chatfield’s resignation and replacement are the subject of much speculation and are the subject of a thorough investigation by civil rights attorney Orly Taitz. (OrlyTaitzEsq.com).
Chatfield attended Union College, majoring in political science and criminal justice, and continued studies at American University. He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, with 35 years of active duty [citation needed] and reserve service.

To Bobbi – It’s Debbie Schlussel – I believe Debbie was the first one to break the story about Obama and his Selective Service Registration fraud – here’s one quote from Debbie – “November 2008, I broke the story that Barack Obama’s Selective Service registration card on file with the federal government is fraudulent on its face and appears to be an after the fact forgery created in 2008. My friend, retired federal agent Stephen Coffman, an expert in studying selective service documents and other records did a Freedom of Information Act request to the government agency in Chicago where the Selective Service records are kept.”

Obama’s Forged Selective Service Registration
By Dr. Conspiracy on December 29, 2008in Debunking, FOIA, Selective Service
Attorney Debbie Schlussel is the main proponent of this conspiracy theory at debbieschlussel.com, and I call it a conspiracy theory because the claim is that a document obtained through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) from the federal government is faked, and this would require a government cover-up to have taken place.

I also updated Wikipedia page to include this date.
