Does anyone have an answer?

Posted on | August 9, 2010 | 9 Comments

Hi, All.

I wanted to get a new printout of Senate Resolution 511 that declared John McCain a Natural Born Citizen so I went to  www.thomas.loc.gov and entered in SR 511 and it pulled up a completely unrelated document.  I am pretty sure that they do not repeat numbers for their Resolutions or Bills.  It is no coincidence that they are most likely trying to wipe from history a Resolution that would define Obama as not Constitutionally qualified.

I finally found the original SR 511 on an advanced search using the term Natural Born Citizen.

Please let me know if my conclusions are wrong.  If it turns out to be something a hat tip would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Pamela Barnett

    Within a given 2-year session of Congress (we are in the 111th Congressional session), numbers for resolutions or bills are not repeated. HOWEVER, numbers are repeated each Congressional session. The resolution you are looking for occurred during the 110th session of Congression.

    Yes, they repeat bill numbers. You have to define your search by the congressional term, aka deez nuts.

    That is Senate Resolution 511 from the 111th Session of Congress, you are looking for 511 from the 110th Session.

    Sometimes there is no conspiracy, just a misunderstanding of how a system works.

    Here it is. Pure bull./ It is not worth the paper it is printed on. Clinton and Obama were the co sponsors. Passed only by the Senate. A Senate Resolution only does not make a constitutional amendment .

    110TH CONGRESS
    2D SESSION S. RES. 511
    Recognizing that John Sidney McCain, III, is a natural born citizen.
    IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES
    APRIL 10, 2008
    Mrs. MCCASKILL (for herself, Mr. LEAHY, Mr. OBAMA, Mr. COBURN, Mrs.
    CLINTON, and Mr. WEBB) submitted the following resolution; which was
    referred to the Committee on the Judiciary
    APRIL 24, 2008

    RESOLUTION
    Recognizing that John Sidney McCain, III, is a natural
    born citizen.
    Whereas the Constitution of the United States requires that,
    to be eligible for the Office of the President, a person
    must be a ‘‘natural born Citizen’’ of the United States;
    Whereas the term ‘‘natural born Citizen’’, as that term appears
    in Article II, Section 1, is not defined in the Constitution
    of the United States;
    Whereas there is no evidence of the intention of the Framers
    or any Congress to limit the constitutional rights of children

    prevent those children from serving as their country’s
    President;
    Whereas such limitations would be inconsistent with the purpose
    and intent of the ‘‘natural born Citizen’’ clause of
    the Constitution of the United States, as evidenced by
    the First Congress’s own statute defining the term ‘‘natural
    born Citizen’’;
    Whereas the well-being of all citizens of the United States is

    of the United States of America and were understood to

    They do repeat bill numbers. They start from number 1 with the start of a new Congress. You were looking under the 111th Congress. You have to look under the 110th Congress

    The website quite clearly reads ‘111th Congress’. The 111th Congress started well after the 2008 Presidential election. So, it would make sense that there’s no resolution declaring McCain a natural-born citizen for the 111th Congress.

    You’re looking for S.Res. 511 from the 110th Congress. 😉

    Yours in figuring out how to use a website before declaring a government conspiracy,

    It is obvious that the Senate resolution was a ploy to bring McCain to the forefront,which succeeded. My position against the resolution is that it claims there is no Constitutional definition of ‘natural born citizen’. I claim the FOunders knew they did not have to ‘redefine’ NBC as they had already noted and included in the Constitution Vattel’s the Laws of NAtions. Many people say that Vattel is not specifically in Article II. I counter that the Founders certainly knew Vattell when they put ‘natural born citizen’ in Article II.

    Someone said that they start from number one every year and go up, but put a two digit year number in front of the number.

    It still doesn’t expain why I should have done an advanced search to find it.
