There was local 484 of the SEIU at the hospital, also known as the Fairfield Hills Unit of the CT State Employees Union headed by Mitchell Labuda in 1972. A website of a former employee, including names of some former employees and his email address at his current Savannah GA location is at: Superintendent in 1977 was a Psychiatrist, Dr. Robert B. It is unlikely Obama chose the SS# of Harrison J. Bounel by random accident. I suspect Bounel was some kind of relative of the Obamas. Having personal knowledge of Bounel and his death would make it easy to assume his SS#. A search of Obama and Michele’s genealogy might turn up an ancestor by the name of Bounel.

Two reasons he doesn’t have is own SS…..he doesn’t have a certified copy of his birth in U.S. and he has no legal right to the name he is using. He never legally changed his name because that would have required him proving who he was to start with.
