A few ideas how to solve housing crises

Posted on | August 12, 2023 | No Comments

Below is my response to this YahooNews article https://news.yahoo.com/finance/news/famed-investor-peter-schiff-just-120000071.html

Schiff did not mean any disrespect for women. Simply when both the husband and wife are working, they can afford more expensive homes. Also, uncontrolled immigration is creating a housing crises. Recently Marcia Fudge, the Secretary of Housing and Urban development stated that US has a shortage of 9 million housing units. However 5 million illegals crossed the border under Biden and a total of illegals is expected to be 7-8 million during 4 years of Biden administration. This creates an enormous housing crisis. We have to close the border and deport millions of people who are here illegally. Additionally, while I feel for people of Ukraine, $200 billion sent by Biden to Ukraine, could pay for millions of low income housing units that are badly needed in this country, which would lower the housing prices. A lot could have been done if our government would not have been corrupt.
