Qualifications for Secretary of State – Damon Dunn

Dear Dr. Taitz:
 
I searched to Internet to find the official qualifications for Secretary of State.
 
Step 1:  www.sos.ca.gov/  This is the site for Debra Bowen.
 
Step 2:  Enter:  Summary of Qualifications and Requirements for Partisan Nomination for the Offices of Secretary of State, Controller, or Treasurer  June 8, 2010, Primary Election
 
This will bring up:  SOS-controller-treasurer-2010.pdg-Adobe Reader
 
I.  QUALIFICATIONS 
 
    Every candidate shall:
 
    B.  Satisfy the following registration requirements:
 
        2.  Not have been registered as affiliated with any other qualified political party within 12 months immediately prior to the filing of the declaration of candidacy.  8001 (a)
 
It would appear that Damon Dunn is not eligible.  I will write to the Secretary of State, Registrar of Voters and Attorney General as you requested on your site.
