Leaving aside Musk’s embrace of cancel culture, which he has fiercely opposed in the past, this won’t make any difference. The shares reflect investor concern, not market reality. Then there’s the fact that Netflix subscribers trend liberal. If there is demand for a show, they will keep it. And as an absentee parent also distressed at having a transgender child who hates him, the solution is to control what your kids watch. And that’s before we get into Musk’s personal life, which you’d think would offend most conservatives.
