This is info from vote smart- Kirk is one of many members of U.S. military, who is outraged by the sell out of this Nation by corrupt politicians. His opponent Alexi Giannolias was a vice-president of a family owned Broadway bank, which received stimulus money, but failed. This bank and it’s practices are being investigated. 

ask yourself, do you want a banker with questionable practices in Senate or do you want someone who put his life on the line for this country as a member of the U.S. military, who is a Cornell graduate, somebody with experience as a Naval commander and a legislator. This is a very tight race, there is a third party candidate in play, which makes it uncertain. If you are residing in IL or anywhere near Il, please walk the precincts for Mark Steven Kirk, help his campaign in the last 2 weeks of this extremely important election.
