U.S. District Court Judge Jeffrey S. White has sentenced Casey Robert Goonan, a self-identified Antifa member, to 19 years in federal prison for firebombing a police vehicle and attempting to ignite a federal courthouse in California. Prosecutors raised concerns that his politically motivated actions risk inspiring similar conduct. The ruling marks the longest sentence ever imposed for an Antifa-linked defendant.
