President Donald Trump told Breitbart News in an exclusive Oval Office interview on Tuesday evening that while he is disappointed about the Supreme Court’s ruling upholding birthright citizenship, the court’s decision in the Trump v. Slaughter case, which once again grants a president the power to fire independent agency employees at will, “more than made up” for it.

In light of the SCOTUS decision on Birthright citizenship, and in order to protect US citizens and taxpayers from the abuse of Birthright tourism, President Trump should issue an executive order denying entrance to the US of all foreigners who are currently pregnant and prioritize and expedite deportation to the home countries of individuals who are in US illegally and are pregnant. To that extend every non-US citizen female between ages 13 and 45 seeking entrance to the US should present at the point of entry a letter from a doctor, who was approved by the US embassy in her home country, showing that she is not pregnant at the time of her entrance to the US

Recent polls show Rubio is either tied with VANCE or ahead

The main head-to-head poll with Rubio vs. Vance as the top two options is from Emerson College Polling (May 24–25, 2026):

  • JD Vance: 36%
  • Marco Rubio: 35%
  • Vance +1 (statistical tie)

This was among likely Republican primary voters. Rubio had surged 15 points since February (when Vance led 52%–20%). Other candidates (DeSantis, Haley, etc.) were in single digits, with ~15% undecided.
