Immigration officers deported the Mexican man wanted in connection to Friday night’s alleged murder of five Honduran nationals on three occasions, according to the Texas sheriff leading the investigation. The most recent removal came in 2016.
A Texas Department of Public Safety official told Breitbart Texas that Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents took nearly 21,000 Venezuelan migrants into custody during a 12-day period. The spokesman compared the current Venezuelan migrant surge to that of the 2021 Haitian migrant crisis in Del Rio, Texas. During the 2021 crisis, nearly 20,000 Haitian migrants crossed into Del Rio from Mexico during a 17-day period.
Ukraine might be Russian Vietnam, but Siberia is Russian “Okie from Muskogee”

For a year I was trying to make sense of what is happening in Ukraine and how soon will this war end and what will be the outcome. My heart aches for all the people who lost their lives, their loved ones, who lost their homes and whose lives were turned upside down. I lived in the nearby Moldova and as a child visited Ukraine every summer and my heart breaks seeing the suffering of people there, in the country that used to be so beautiful and peaceful, where Ukrainians and Russians considered themselves brothers, whose languages were so close and families so intertwined.
The news reports about the war sound quiet contradictory. For a year now we were told that Russia and it’s economy are about to collapse, that Russia is running out of tanks and planes and ammunition, that Russian surrender and retreat from Ukraine is imminent, but over a year passed and this is not happening. So, what is the reason?
Recently I traveled to Thailand. It happens so that a lot of Russians travel to Thailand, particularly from Siberia, from Russian Far East. For them it is only a 6 hour flight, slightly longer than it takes us to fly from Los Angeles to New York.
So, I talked to a number of these Russians and tried to understand their feelings about this war.
Very quickly I realized that the attitudes differ depending on which part of Russia the person came from. This reminded me Vietnam and the difference of attitudes in far left New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles and the heartland of the country. Far left protested, the heartland did not.
I spoke to a woman who happened to be an accountant from Saint Petersburg. She was saying that she is afraid this war will start a civil war in Russia. She complained about enormous inflation, economy being bad, the society being polarized, people no longer respecting each other in arguments. I responded that in US we also have an enormous inflation now, bad economy and polarization of the society, but I hope this will not lead to anything drastic, like civil war. The woman was saying that in Saint Petersburg she believes that the the society is divided half and half for the war and against it.
Later I happened to talk to a number of ladies from Siberia, from Russian heartland. They related a totally different story. They were saying that Russian heartland is totally supporting the war, that people are volunteering to fight and are donating money to help ethnic Russians in Eastern Ukraine. They asked me if US TV networks reported on nearly 10 years of civil war in Eastern Ukraine. I replied that this civil war was not highlighted in the US as it was considered local matters, not important for American viewers.
Indeed, since 2014 revolt on Maidan, in the heart of Kyiv, Ukraine, which according to Oliver Stone movie and other reports was largely orchestrated by Victoria Nuland and others from the US state Department, the new Ukrainian government sought to make significant changes in Eastern Ukraine, which was predominantly Russian, majority of population there spoke Russian. Ukrainian government sought to bury Russian language and Russian culture in predominantly Russian Eastern Ukraine, which was met with enormous resistance from the Russian population there and led to civil war there, that lasted for nearly 10 years and cost multiple lives and led to serious destruction in the area. Russian heartland is supporting the war in Ukraine because they feel that they have to help their Russian brothers and sisters residing in Ukraine, fight for their rights and freedoms. This reminded me the Vietnam era old Merle Haggard country song “Okie from Muskogee”. I posted the song below. It seems that as long as Siberia and Russian heartland feel like Okie from Muskogee, the war will last, it will not end that fast.
Additionally, it seems that Russia can crank up the same or larger amount of military equipment and amo as US and NATO for a fraction of what it costs in the US. We reportedly spent 150 billion on the war in Ukraine. Russians have cheap labor, cheap energy, cheap metal, so they produce the military equipment in factories that are operating 24/7, non stop for probably 10% of what the same equipment will cost to produce in the West. This is a significant problem for the West and of course for the Ukraine.
So, what is the answer? How do you stop the bloodshed?
Elon Musk is a brilliant man and he suggested having a referendum in Eastern Ukraine. Maybe, this war can end quickly with a peace agreement which includes a referendum in Eastern Ukraine. So far, it is estimated that over 100,000 people have died, both Ukrainians and Russians. Let’s hope there will be a solution soon, so people will not be dying, so mothers will not be burying their children.
The U.S. government took the information techniques it learned after 9/11 and has turned them on Americans. America may have lost the Great War on Terror, but our technocratic elites could still win their war against American liberty.
