The claims about President Obama’s Social Security number have been examined by fact-checkers like Snopes and http://FactCheck.org. His SSN (042-68-4425) was issued to him in 1977 from Hawaii. The Connecticut prefix likely stems from a zip code mismatch (96814 vs. 06814), per SSA guidelines on mailing addresses. No evidence supports theft or fraud. For details, see SSA records.

However, this number failed each and every method of verification such as E-verify and SSNVS and others when used with Obama’s name. So, everybody knows that this is fraud, that Obama is using a social security number which was never legally assigned to him. He is doing what about 36 million illegals in US are doing.
