We now have a good rulling from the 9th circuit which extends to bloggers the same Fist Amendment protection as to traditional journalists

Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal last week issued a decision in Obsidian v. Cox holding that bloggers are entitled to the same First Amendment protections as traditional journalists. This is the first published decision in the Ninth Circuit applying First Amendment protections to bloggers
