Dear Meghan and Harry,
I would start by saying that American citizens and US as a whole are very generous. US donated millions of dollars to poor countries. However, I am concerned about your recent speeches made at “global citizen” and other events, where you stated that people in poor countries have a fundamental right to get free Covid vaccines and you implied that people in developed countries, such as US and Western European countries somehow have a fundamental duties to pay for those vaccinations. There is a huge difference between charity, us doing something out of goodness of our hearts and being told that somehow we have a duty to give and someone has a right to take from us.
Where did find this “fundamental right” and “fundamental duty”? There is no law or treaty granting such right and dictating such duty. It is simply a figment of your imagination. Moreover, if you fabricated a right to Covid vaccination, what will you fabricate next? What about all the other vaccines? Are we, the Americans and Europeans, responsible for payment for all the vaccines for all the world? What about all the other treatments? What about all the other needs? If people somewhere in Africa live in huts, are we responsible to pay for their houses?
What’s interesting, is that the Hollywood crowd usually comes with slogans, what all of have to do but never does what it preaches.
If you feel that people in poor countries have a “fundamental right”, why don’t you put your money where your mouth is and pay for this right. Reportedly, you live in a $14 million dollar house in Montecito, California. So, if you are so passionate about the fundamental right of people in poor countries, why don’t you sell your house and give all the money to vaccinate people. Furthermore, Harry got reported $40 million inheritance from Prince’s Diana’s estate. You didn’t work for this money, you inherited it, so why not donate it? But wait, there is more. When you decided to leave the royal duties, you gave up only about $100,000 per year you were getting in a grant directly from the taxpayers. You never gave up about $3million you are getting annually from Prince Charles. On your website you wrote that this money comes from the Duchy of Cornwall, somehow implying that you are entitled to this $3 million per year. However, I have news for you. You do not have such “fundamental right” or such fundamental entitlement to $3 million per year. The Duchy of Cornwall was set up in 1337 by King Edward the third for his son, the crown prince, and for future crown princes to support themselves and give as they please. Currently, the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles, has the estate and later it will be Prince William. You never had a right to this money, you were given money by Prince Charles out of goodness of his heart and he and William might be having second thoughts about giving you any money considering you leaving the royal duties, pouring dirt on the royal family and promising to pour more dirt in your upcoming memoirs.
Meghan and Harry, you tend to see only rights and entitlements for yourselves and duties on part of others.
Talking about duties, the main duty of the US citizens and the US government is not to bankrupt this nation. Today, due to immense corruption in our government and Congress, we have about 30 trillion dollar debt, the biggest debt in human history. We are paying $1.5 billion every day, which is $1,500 million every day in interest on this debt. This money could have gone to many humanitarian causes. Our main duty is to demand that our leaders pass the balanced budget amendment with debt repayment clause, to repay this enormous debt. We do not have a duty to listen to an ex-Hollywood starlet and an ex-Royal and pay the demands made by them.

I’ve rarely seen a more disciplined and determined effort in anyone to prevent the natural and instinctual response of hiding tears, to shield the act of crying – that is, besides social network influencer and others suffering the desperate need to draw attention and sympathy – than the straining attempt by Kyle Rittenhouse on the stand at his trial for murder.
There are those who win Oscars doing this (see Viola Davis’ snot filled five minutes in ‘Doubt’), but there was no pretention of playing a part, and it was more believable. Watching Rittenhouse push and work it like a man on a toilet going for the Mondo-duke, looking around as if to plea, “do you see me cry, jury? Do you see me weep, judge? was cringe-worthy. It seemed as phony as a lie; and less sincere than a crocodile’s tears. I didn’t buy it for a moment, though I know that millions will. Humans are such easy prey. Tears and money, little is more powerful.
