OC Register political editor Wisckol admits that he is running a poll, which is not scientifically vetted. This explains, why in Scientific Rasmussen /Pulse poll I am first with a wider margin and in a OC Register OC Pulse poll I am only third. Martin Wisckol needs to stop running polls that are not scientifically vetted and post scientific polls, otherwise he is de facto defrauding the public

Pulse polls
OC Political Pulse poll works like this: Voters who live or work in Orange County send me an email saying they want to participate, listing which of the 11 polling groups they’d like to be tallied with. Two or three times a week, they receive an email with a link to a new poll question. At the end of the link is a multiple choice question – they click on their choice and are done. The process takes less than 30 seconds.
Running results are updated every time a new vote is cast.
The poll is not scientifically vetted but does reflect how each of the 11 different groups thinks about a given issue. There are currently a little more than 1,000 participants.
If you’d like to participate, email your name, phone number, city of residence and which groups you’d like to join to mwisckol@ocregister.com. You can see the list of groups and all past poll results at ocregister.com/pulse.
