    it looks like they are pretty confident that they have a friendly judge in the federal court and they are rushing to bury the case

    They can’t do that, can they? Are attorney’s allowed to willy-nilly shop for a judge who is friendly to their case?

    federal court is more friendly to the federal government
    the salaries of these judges come from the federal government
