    I hope someone living in Davidson County, TN can check these out for you since I do not and our local library only has more recent editions.

    A simple google search showed several of them on sale from $ 3500 on up to 250000. I wouldn’t give 5 cents for one.

    “The first edition of Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance by Barack Obama was published in 1995 by Times Books (A division of Random House) in New York. It is said to have been published in an extremely small first printing of only 7500 copies and was published before Obama was even a state senator, let alone President Elect. Printed in much lower numbers than the first edition of The Audacity of Hope. So it is very scarce/rare.”

    Funny! The prices being asked for the 1995 1st edition are astronomical, but a look at the completed auctions shows that none are presently selling at these inflated prices.

    Wow! At that price, I’d go to some library, to see what I could find? I will check. Let’s get a lot of people doing some checking, Patriots?

    Orly, do you just want the book sent? or some specific section? or if they start stopping the delivery of the book (I know how they are able to do this!) I’ll see what I can find?!~

    just a thought….if the library will not sell it (I know ours does not except for books they offer twice a year at a fund raiser sale) just check it out and renew if necessary and then deal with any late charges that might accrue until you can get it back to them…..

    …just called our library, if renewals run out and you can’t bring a book back, you can pay for the original cost of the book plus some extra charges but that would likely be significantly less than Amazon or ebay or such…..

    From Random House….
    For a first printing of the first edition
    of their Times Books, you would need on the copyright page:

    First Edition:September 1995
    10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1
    or
    First Edition
    or
    First Edition, First Printing

    If there is a number line, the last number in the number line
    indicates the printing. For example, 2468753 is a third printing,
    2368754 is a fourth printing, etc. In other words, if there is a
    number line, there has to be a “1” and it has to be in the last position to be a first printing.

    There is absolutely no way, and never has been a way that What’s Name could legally be considered a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN.

    Both of his parents at the time of What’s His Name birth had to be Citizens of the United States of America. “ONE OF THEM WASN’T” – “ONE OF THEM WASN’T” – “ONE OF THEM WASN’T”. It’s as simple and clear as that. So Wake up America.

    So place of birth shouldn’t even considered in What’s His Name’s situation. What’s His Name could have been born in the White House, in the Oval Office, in Washington D.C., and he still would not have been a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN, It that plain and simple.

    But the use of all the fraudulent documents that What’s His Name” is using, and hiding behind is a felony, and that alone should disqualify What’s His Name from holding any kind of public office of trust at all.

    The law says if you are convicted of a felony you can’t hold a public office of trust of any kind.

    Why can’t the FBI, Supreme Court, and all the other Courts, Main Stream Media, Democratic and Republican Parties, and everyone living in the dark ages, on What’s His Name’s situation come to terms with What’s His Name readily admits, and says in writing that his father was a citizen of Kenyan NOT the United States of America, and never was. Isn’t that plain and simple?

    Why does the vast majority of people here in the United States of America have their heads in the sand like an ostrich on this issue?

    It’s so plain and simple, so what’s wrong. I’m completely lost for any kind of logical answer on this issue alone.

    Could some bright brilliant individual out there enlighten me on where I’ve gone wrong on this issue?

    I’m serious, please do so.

    I haven’t found anywhere in our sacred Constitution where it says that certain parts of it can be ignored. And that what we are doin in What’s His Name’s case

    America wake up and quit ignoring part of our sacred Constitution, before it’s too late and we all have lost a sacred Constitution along with a lot of our freedoms guaranteed by that Sacred Constitution.

    Hmmm…it’s good that one or more people were able to find a copy. I’d consider though that the way to make contact about this discovery would be to make covert contact with Orly!

    Don’t give the NWO anything to add to their present position in stopping us! They check this site out all the time!

    Annie, I know it’s been over two years, but did your local library in fact have a genuine First Edition?

    If so, were they willing to sell it and not just allow it to be checked out?

    If so, did you succeed in purchasing it on behalf of Dr. Orly Taitz, Esq., or arrange for Dr. Taitz to purchase it herself?

    Dr. Taitz, did you ever receive the book from Annie’s library or otherwise find one?

    Because the smoking gun may be in here. Here’s a claim that I’ve seen posted repeatedly: allegedly, Barack Obama actually admitted to having been born in Kenya in the first edition! Allegedly, this damning confession was scrubbed from all subsequent revisions.

    Supposedly, this exact text is in the First Edition, but not in any subsequent revisions:

    “Having been born in Kenya, I understand the American dream better than anyone who was born here. I understand what it means to strive for change, to hope for a better future. And like millions of other legal immigrants, it’s something I aspire toward every single day.”

    This particular quote is alleged in two blogs that I know of, both posted on June 23 of this year (not quite two months ago as I type this), namely, National Report and Independent Concerns, both articles entitled “Twelve [or Direct] Obama Quotes [that] You Should Know.”

    Much earlier are allegations posted by on Marc Jeric on several Disqus® forums and elsewhere, at least since July 19, 2012, at 6:57 PM. Marc posts a list of nine (earlier eight) Birther evidences, of which this one is the ninth (or eighth), and as the tenth in later versions he challenges opponents to refute them without resorting to name-calling or insults. Here’s a slightly later posting of the list, posted Sunday, September 15, at 2:01 PM. From that, his Item #9 is:

    9) Another nail in the “Hawaii-born” Obama, was found in the first edition of his autobiographical book “Dreams from my father”, where he proudly stated that he was born in Kenya. That sentence was purged from the following editions of the book. His father was a tribal communist, ending his life as an alcoholic in abject poverty after he had failed in his political aspirations.

    I’ve also seen Marc’s list posted verbatim as a blog post on another blog, under another name, and well after these dates. I don’t know for sure of Marc actually wrote the list himself, but I can’t find it anywhere else posted by anyone else except him and that one blogger, and Marc’s is earlier by over a year.

    Unfortunately, neither Marc nor either of the bloggers who posted the alleged actual quote text in late June informed us as to what page the alleged quote appears in the first edition. So, if either of you have access to the physical first edition book, you’ll have to read from the beginning. Hopefully Obama wrote it early on, but if it’s not there at all, you’ll have to read the whole book to find that out for sure.

    If you do find it, then scan the page. Better yet, take a photo of yourself holding the book turned to that page using a high-megapixel camera such that zooming in on the page allows the text to be read (point your finger at the paragraph). Better still, a video of yourself opening the book to its inside cover page (showing that it is indeed a first edition), then turn to that page and zoom in on the admission text.

    This would be incontrovertible proof!

    dr. taitz,
    just ran across your website. ironically, I was looking for the same edition,for the same reasons, of ‘dreams of my father’ and ran across it in some obscure online bookseller for $22; it had been a library book. i won’t have it for a week yet so I am looking forward to seeing if it is the 1995 edition published by Times books as stated.
    I noticed above that someone had also found the book but it looks like you’re still looking for it so I don’t know what’s up there but if you still need it, please reply and i’ll see about getting it to you if the info we’re looking for is indeed in there, and after I’ve read it. I do find it unbelievable that you are still looking after 4 years, hope I can help. we’ll see

    I checked this book out of the local library about 9 years ago and read it from cover to cover. Never in my wildest dreams thought that it would be worth what it is now worth. I believe that all copies have now been removed from all libraries and the new printing was to hide what was stated on the inside of the jacket cover. Orly if you think there is any merit to what I am thinking , please respond. Thanks Eugene

    When I read what was said on the jacket cover I knew that he did not meet the requirment as outlined by the constitution to be P.O.T.U.S.
