Terrorist sympathizer trolling for converts and you are paying the bill!
Some things are simply unbelievable. Sometimes you have to ask, what are some people thinking? That is the case in Florida at the University of Central Florida. UCF is in the middle of something called Islam Awareness month, sponsored by the Muslim Student Association.
Probably following the law of unintended consequences, the MSA is going to make us all aware of what Islam really is by inviting a speaker, one Siraj Wahhaj. Wahhaj is not a household name in America; he is a “star” in the world of radical Islam.
Wahhaj was named as an unindicted co-Conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and eventually was a character witness in the trial of Sheik Omar Abdel-Rachman. Rachman was the blind sheik, who was given a life sentence for his role in supporting terror against the United States. Wahhaj has repeatedly called for America to be overthrown and an Islamic caliphate put in its place.
He has said in the past that the real terrorists are the FBI and the CIA. He believes an Islamic theocracy where adulterers are stoned, thieves have their hands amputated and non-Muslims are treated as a persecuted minority, is better than American democracy.
This is not the first time this Muslim Student Association has invited a terrorist supporter to the UCF campus. In 2006, they invited Ibrahim Dremali, an Egyptian cleric who had fled Egypt for being too radical (which begs the question, what was he doing in the United States?). Dremali had issued Fatwas in favor of violence against America and in support of suicide bombings.
There are a number of obvious questions, the first of which is to ask what the hell is going on at this school? Taxpayers should be furious that their tax dollars are going to fund these types of events. One website reports that Wahhaj typically gets an “honorarium” of a few thousand dollars to appear at events and this event is being funded by the UCF student government association.
Why is the Muslim Student Association, with its obvious support for radicals who want to kill people and over throw the American government, not only funded, but why is it even allowed on the UCF campus?
In the fall of 2010, tuition at Florida public universities, which includes the University of Central Florida, went up by 15%. The end result was certainly some students who could no longer afford to go to school.
While the University of Central Florida is raising tuition, they are also funding groups like the Muslim Student Association. That begs the question again, why?
It is bad enough that they are funding a radical, anti-American, terrorist supporting “student” organization, but to do so when they have to raise tuition is inexcusable.
Since the sixties, colleges have become a refuge for all manner of America hating radicals. In fact, hating America seems to be a requirement to be a professor at some schools. Bill Ayers and Bernadette Dorn, in their post terrorist careers have been academics. Colleges and Universities are infamous for throwing ROTC off campus, harassing conservative students and groups. Just a few days ago, students at Columbia University heckled a decorated and crippled Iraq war veteran because he dared to speak for the ROTC program.
Colleges and Universities, allegedly, exist for purposes of higher education. Yet when these colleges and universities fund activities like the Muslim Student Association at the University of Central Florida, the citizens of the state, the parents of students and the students themselves need to start asking what is going on.
If you think it is outrageous that the University of Central Florida is hosting this radical Islamist, as well as funding a student group that approves of radical Islam, it is time to make our voices heard.
Call John Hitt, the UCF president at 407-823-1823 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 407-823-1823 end_of_the_skype_highlighting. Governor Rick Scott of Florida was elected with Tea Party support, talking about cutting the State budget. Perhaps people should ask him if he thinks this is a good use of taxpayer dollars. His number is 850-488-7146 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 850-488-7146 end_of_the_skype_highlighting.
We will take America back, one battle at a time. Defunding radicals and saving tax dollars is one good way to start.

My 82 year old Dad mentioned this to me today, I could not believe it. Thank you so so much for writing your information, I will be contacting all the numbers/people that you provided….huge thank you. We live just 40 minutes or less from UCF, my mother was in the first graduation class when the school was FTU back in the 70’s. Yes, I am outraged that my tax dollars are being wasted on such crap. Please continue to take a stand. We are all linking arms in a virtual arm lock through emails, etc. Thank you again.
