SUA: Curtea Suprema refuza sa se sesizeze asupra dezbaterii privind nationalitatea lui Obama

Curtea Suprema a Statelor Unite a refuzat luni sa se sesizeze asupra chestiunii nationalitatii americane a presedintelui Barack Obama, pe care un nucleu dur continua sa o conteste, in ciuda faptului ca a fost prezentat actul sau de nastere, relateaza AFP.

Fara a face comentarii, cea mai inalta jurisdictie din SUE a respins cererea depusa de Orly Taitz, un avocat californian devenit lider al contestatarilor. Ea a cerut Curtii sa anuleze condamnarea sa la o amenda de 20.000 de dolari pronuntata de un judecator federal pentru “plangere frivola” si in care solicita ca un militar, clientul sau, sa nu fie trimis in Irak in virtutea unui ordin semnat de un comandant sef nelegitim.

Constitutia americana interzice persoanelor care nu sunt nascute pe teritoriu american sa fie alesi la Casa Alba. Barack Hussein Obama s-a nascut in 1961 in Hawaii, unul dintre cele 50 de state americane.
