Where is Katie Couric, Rachel Maddow and all these women from NOW now?

A NOBEL WOMAN

Today, Professor Ada Yonath of Israel’s Weizmann Institute will receive the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in Stockholm, the first woman to win a chemistry Nobel since 1964. As I pointed out two months ago when the prizes were announced, it ought to have been a big story, not least because the question of how much women achieve at the highest levels in science is still a controversial one. (One recalls the Larry Summers row at Harvard.) But, perhaps because it tells one something important and positive about Israel, the media have virtually ignored this story.

Yonath won the award for her research on ribosome, a key component of the cellular machinery that translates DNA sequences into protein chains. The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences said her work had been fundamental to the scientific understanding of life and has helped researchers develop antibiotic cures for various diseases.

PS from Orly. I was very proud of my oldest son Isaac, who did research in the area of mitochondrial protein essential in iron transport and one of the keys in curing diabetes. Isaac worked with a professor, who was nominated to Nobel price and the article was published.

Lately he was doing research in the area of sleep disorders.   That probably was a necessity due to lack of time for sleep  between his studies and his stand up comedy group. (yap, just being one of these moms, who always talks about her kids)

    Dr. Taitz:

I think you should have won a Nobel Prize instead of Mr. Obama because what he has accomplished is nothing but violating the US Constitution thru fraud and treason. You are a great American hero by fighting to save our country from being destroyed by Mr. Obama and his administratives. You should deserve a Nobel Prize.

Congradulations to your son Isaac for doing some researches on those issues including sleep disorders. I would like to hear more about what he is finding from his research on sleep disorders because I have had some sleep problems in my lifetime. I am interested in finding out how to solve the problem.

By the way, thank you, Orly, for all your hard work and it appears that every day more and more people begin to see what we are fighting forthe US Constitutions, they would be standing up with us. The usurper will be finally removed very soon in 2010.

Keep on fighting until the usurper is removed from the White House. Remember that we are behind you.

It seems that your entire family can function very well while suffering sleep deprivation.

She would not be the first woman to win the Nobel Prize in chemistry. Madame Curie would be.

But you, Lady Liberty, would be the first to win the Piece Prize in this titanic battle to oust the Usurper!
