It costs on average $17,000 to deport an illegal alien. In case of Abriego Garcia it is much more than that. It is time for the DHS to start seeking a reimbursement of those fees. In case the courts refuse to award the fees, the congress should pass a law, where DHS is able and is required to get reimbursement. We, the taxpayers, should not pay billions of dollars for this
