stock market goes up and down. It will go up again, however with this policies US economy will go up, more investments in the US in order to avoid tariffs, more domestic manufacturing, balanced budjet and payment of the debt. We have to do it or else the nation will be bankrupt

Right. So how will the US grow produce that it imports from tropical countries? In the meantime nearly 15 trillion of American wealth has been lost and maybe the markets will eventually recover but that’s no help to anyone approaching retirement. The tariff formula is nonsensical and will lead to inflation. In the meantime, far from being respected, America is despised, its allies are regrouping to exclude America, and no-one will make agreements with a country that breaks its word. And American exports will decline. There is no short-term way for auto manufacturers to replace Canadian and Mexican autos. Canada’s tariffs on US autos means that Japan and maybe even China will become preferred importers, with no tariffs.
