Why all the demorat clowns that were at the department of education to harass people and put up a fake show didn’t march when the DOE was established and we went from no. 1 in the world in education to 21st? Where was the outrage then?

The US was never #1 and most of the lowest scores are in red states.

Ben Fletcher, it amazes me that with all the genius in the blue states you have not been able to eliminate poverty, racism and hatred in this country. Since you and your friends are so intellectually graced, we all request that you and your friends solve to worlds problems, would you please?

As recently as 20 years ago, the United States was ranked No.1 in high school and college education. Much of the boom in American education during the second half of the 20th century was fueled by the Montgomery G.I. Bill, which provided scholarships and student loans to veteran service personnel returning from World War II. Having matured on the battlefield, thousands of returning troops eagerly seized the opportunity to improve their postwar prospects in the civilian world, leading to a transformation of the American middle class in the 1950s and 1960s.
