Dear Mr. Adams,
Thank you for contacting me regarding H.R. 1868, the Birthright Citizenship Act. It is helpful to learn the views of my neighbors in California, and I value your input.
There is broad consensus in this country that our current immigration policies are flawed. We should begin by strongly enforcing existing laws, securing the border, cracking down on employers who knowingly hire illegal immigrants, and devising a realistic way to deal with the 12 million people who are unlawfully in the U.S.
The 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution states that “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.”
H.R. 1868 modifies immigration law by stating that an individual born in the U.S. whose parents are illegal immigrants are not automatically granted citizenship. Many proponents of this legislation believe that that the 14th Amendment may have the unintended consequence of encouraging illegal immigration, necessitating a legislative remedy. Should the House of Representatives vote on H.R. 1868, I will keep your views in mind.
I am an ardent opponent of so called amnesty proposals that would naturalize large segments of the illegal immigrant population, and I have heard from many businesses, ranchers, farmers, high-tech companies, and small business owners in my district who not only would be damaged if the status quo continues, many of them would go out of business. I also oppose issuing driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants. As Congress considers future immigration legislation, I will factor your recommendations into my decision making.

I am asking you for a definition of “NATURAL BORN CITIZEN” AS REQUIRED BY THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION. I WILL NOT RELENT, I WILL MAKE YOU GIVE AN ANSWER TO MY QUESTION. If a book is written by a balanced and clear and fair minded author you will be at thepresent time–an historical foot note. If you get carter to back off and revise his order, then you are well on your way to flowing in a larger flower bed of psoitive contribution.
Judges are appointed at the federal level, they are people and they have their biases, they are elected for life–that has to be changed–and they get their feathers ruffled by an astute truth seeker meeting them in THEIR venue where they can sit like complacent job-for-life Gods and pronounce this or that.
You mentioned the Land decisison influencing Carter–and the attitudes of ‘superior” anger and hubris–and you were right not to mention the order submitted to carter on the other judgement– ah what a morass of paper chases and hidden and blin alleys where you are mugged by folk who ignor the rukles and get the judge to join them in their evil ways.
In the above mentioned civil action you stand on principle and law and you plead your case in unequivocal undeniable terms–even the quasi leterate lay person can absorb the essence and core of your meaning and stand.
Now you are NOT without fault orly in misjudging that Land and this dumbell carter are impervious to both the logic and ethics underlying your pleadings for reconsideration.
Now let us suppose you are 100% right. there are many doors that a clever legal jurist can open and close at the same time thus NOT allowuing you to get to the essence and meaning of your primary arguments.
When carter responds he will limit discussion and try to side track you, again on standing–(really was preoccuppied with that in a prior hearing where he kissed Obama’s surrogates arse)-
door will open to his standing argument and you will be cut off at strategic moemnts, then there will jurisdiction and then he will sanction you like carter–and though you are right in law and principle, he will join Land and the other Judges- who dismiss this as frivolous–and it is NOT frivolous, we know that!!!!– and then they will attack your law wheels as in cutting the sides of your legal license tires and that will be it for you for awhile.
Levy is a notable and respected person in the i ternatioanl legal circles, but Carter is running scared and as everything is a matter of public record the next hearing will be brief, conclusive, terminating your position in his court with sanctions or warnings like Land did. You smartly laid it all out in the above mentioned Civil action (SACV09-00082-DOC-AN– you are quite brilliant in your view of the grand strategic picture, but all of you in the past up to now ARE LOSING!!! For whatever reason the bottom line is that you are LOSING.
