This is all standard FBI procedure. Agents are always armed. The “raid” was authorized after it was found that Trump was actively hiding documents and ordering staff to move boxes. It was fully coordinated with the Secret Service and on a day that Trump was not at Mar-A-Lago. So clearly they weren’t going to kill him. Though his own lawyers have told SCOTUS that a President is immune from prosecution even if he does order the murder of a political opponent.
