    What a petulant little man. This is because his wife did exactly what Dr. Gay did – miss quotation marks. The more productive discussion would be better defining plagiarism – it means passing someone else’s work off as your own and, in universities, specifically appropriating research. That is very unusual. So really, what’s the endgame here other than Ackman trying to deflect?

    Sally Kornbluth is an active member of the Jewish community. She is definitely not anti-semitic. Badly prepared, yes. The smart one was the Columbia President, who declined the invitation.

    Also, Board members of Harvard are there because they’re rich, and they aren’t academics. At the root of this is donors thinking that they can decide university policy. It’s why British universities are not allowed to accept conditional donations.

    regardless of political views, all faculty members and administrators and board members of universities should be removed from their positions if caught plagiarizing.

    Definitely, but plagiarism is not omitting quotation marks.
