My response to YahooNews article claiming that Claudine Gay was forced to resign because she is black

Claudine Gay had to resign not because of racism, but because of 50 testimonies of authors showing her plagiarising. Any Harvard student would have been expelled for one instance of plagiarism, never mind 50. She is an embarrassment for Harvard, she should be fired and not paid $900,000 salary. Time for Federal government, which is 34 trillion in debt, to stop giving grants to private universities and students in those unis. Private unis are private businesses, they should sink or swim on their own. Additionally, Harvard has 50 billion in endowment, we, the taxpayers , should not give money to pay nearly a million in salary for the likes of Gay, who has 50 allegations of plagiarism against her and who was too dumb to answer a simple guestion, is genocide of Jews against Harvard policy. Besides, white president of University of Pennsylvania was forced to resign, too. It is not the race, it is their stupidity and lack of character

She never said that was the reason. She did say that there had been attacks on her based on race since she was appointed, which is true. Just look at some of Bill Ackman’s comments. The mistake they all made was focusing on the legal aspects, though conservatives have been quick to criticize universities for suppressing what they claim are First Amendment rights. What they should have done was issue a statement ahead of the hearings and make clear that the Hamas attacks were appalling; then explain the issues involved (“From the River to the Sea” is not always a call for genocide); and then they should have refused to engage in the silly yes/no game. The other thing here is that Harvard’s President should be someone who has run another university. This is the practice in England and Canada when hiring for the larger universities. A faculty Dean does not have the experience. As for whether public money should go to Harvard, I think they’d be happy to accept only students who can afford the fees. But that isn’t really good public policy.

I should add that it is not for the government to decide which students get funding according to the university they attend. Once you go down that road things can change sharply if a different party makes the decisions.

Steve Jackman, are you a terrorist? The so called Palestinians, which are not Palestinians but of Arab descent, since they are not related to the Philistines, 99% of them have been telling the world for years that that’s exactly what “From the River to the Sea” means. The extermination of the people of Israel so they can take over that land and turn it into a muslim garbage pile. I don’t know where have you been living but, you are a denier of the truth just as your Palestinians friends. Not one archeological find in all of Israel of the so called “Palestinians” occupiying anything in that area but, plenty of archeological evidence of over 3,000 years of Israeli prescence in that area. It’s always the same, you don’t agree with their BS and you are a racist, homophobic, misogynistic, nazi. You are trying to defend the indefensible. Did you watch this hag evading questions in her testimony to Congress? Go pound sand!
