Fellow America,

When I decided to run for office, I knew I would be attacked. Unfortunately, that’s politics these days.

I knew the Left would try to paint me as a man unfit to serve in public office. After all, I struggled with mental health issues when my professional football career ended. But I sought treatment, got help, and then spent the next decade encouraging others to get help if they needed it. In fact, I even wrote a book about my journey, Breaking Free: My Life with Dissociated Identity Disorder, with the goal of helping others.

This summer, Raphael Warnock and Chuck Schumer’s Super PAC spent more than $50 million attacking my character, my family, and my mental health struggles.

But their ads didn’t work. The personal attacks against me failed to move the needle, so Raphael Warnock and I are neck-and-neck in the polls in the Georgia Senate race.

In their desperation to find something to distract the voters from real issues and blunt our momentum, they came up with an “October Surprise” alleging that I paid for a woman to have an abortion.

Let me be clear: I have never paid for anyone to have an abortion. It’s a flat-out lie.

We cannot let the Left win by lying, cheating, or buying their way to victory. We need to stand together to fight back with the truth.

Fellow American, today I need your assistance more than ever before in this campaign. I need the resources to talk directly to the voters and clear the record. 

Undecided voters are watching this race closely, and the Left knows it. That’s why, 35 days before the election, they decided to distract from the real issues by telling a lie about me.

First, the Left used these tactics against Justice Clarence Thomas in an unsuccessful effort to keep him off the Supreme Court.

Then, 27 years later, they did the same thing to Justice Brett Kavanaugh as they tried to destroy him, his reputation, and his family.

Their intimidation tactics didn’t work on Justices Thomas or Kavanaugh, and they’re not going to work on me. Right now, all they’ve done is energize me more.

The Left is desperate to win this Senate race because they want to change this country, but we’re not going to let it happen.

I need your help and support now more than ever. Will you please stand with me?
