The Trump Impeachment Trial is Unconstitutional
Orly Taitz, the famous lawyer who questioned Obama’s eligibility to be president (based on a stolen SS number), argues that a Senate trial of former President Trump over phony incitement to riot charges is flatly unconstitutional. Watch this show here.
Obama was Impeachable Over Libya. Barack Hussein Obama’s war in Libya was illegal and unconstitutional. The war was a violation of the War Powers Act, which says the president can go to war on his own only if there is an imminent threat to the U.S. and there is a 60-day deadline for the withdrawal of forces. Obama violated both provisions of the law. There was no direct or immediate threat to the U.S. from Libya. What did the Republicans do? Nothing.
Members of Congress concerned about America’s survival shied away from impeaching President Obama on national security grounds. They either thought impeachment would take too long or that the political process of impeaching the first black Democratic President would be too polarizing. They were weak and they were cowards. We paid the price.
