If—

If you can keep your head when all about you
    Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
    But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
    Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,

    I do like the whole poem and the continuous flavor of the IF…

    This is the type of poem I like as it has the “home made” type of “pie”…

    And the whole ball of wax…!

    The “IF” poem reads rather wonderful and poetic:

    This then, is the stuff of what is made and what is not made of…

    And no matter who brings the cake and ice cream, today, that those who will want an extra scoop of the tasty ‘ice cream’!

    This is then, a very large idea to play with…

    And the tone is nice and mild!
