Italy reports the lowest number of daily new cases in about a month. Went down from nearly 7,000 new cases per day to less than 3,000. We are expecting the same percentile drop in US within 2 weeks.

Italy had a total of 21,000 death in total and popularion of about 60 million. US population is 330 million, or 5.5 times larger. If we were to have the same death rate, we would have about 140,000 deaths. However, I believe the total number of death in the US will be much lower, less than 60,000
