Schumer: Democrats will filibuster Gorsuch nomination

Schumer announced that Dems will filibuster Gorsuch. The truth of the matter is that now all federal judgeship nominations became a colossal waste of time. After Robert Borg responded honestly to questions and his nomination was sunk, the judges, appointed for positions, simply refuse to answer any substantive questions stating that the issue might be before them in the future and they do not want to prejudge. So, the Judiciary Committee wastes some 6 weeks reviewing the documents and then two or three more weeks deliberating and asking questions and getting zero substantive answers. At the end, when the the president has senate majority or at least 50/50 senate, he can confirm all of his nominees along the party line. So, it seems to me that it’s enough of this colossal waste of time.

So far, there were only 19 nominees confirmed. There are 400 positions in the government that need to be confirmed: high ranking officials and ambassadors. On top of that there are 96 US attorneys and currently there are 113 positions of federal judges awaiting confirmation. Time to move expeditiously and fill all of these positions. Please, call Mitch McConnell and tell him to either expedite the confirmations and do them one after another around the clock or resign from the position of the senate majority leader, let someone else take his place and move expeditiously.

    Communist Schumer claims Gorsuch is not a neutral and impartial judge. Does anyone think the 2 Hussein appointed Commies Kagan & Sotomayor are neutral? Give me a break! Did the GOP filibuster either of them?
