Dear Orly,
I first started paying attention to Donald Trump when he spoke about building a border wall. I seem to remember he spoke about deporting all illegal aliens back to countries of origin, that they would have to apply legally to re-enter America and go to the end of the line.
After hearing Donald Trump speak this evening about ‘comprehensive immigration policy’ (code words for amnesty), I have a sinking feeling that he will evolve his illegal immigration policy from ‘he would deport all illegal aliens’ to something resembling the ‘Gang of 8 amnesty’.
In Dec, 2015 Trump posted ‘The three core principles of Donald J. Trump’s immigration plan’:
1. A nation without borders is not a nation. There must be a wall across the southern border.
2. A nation without laws is not a nation. Laws passed in accordance with our Constitutional system of government must be enforced.
3. A nation that does not serve its own citizens is not a nation. Any immigration plan must improve jobs, wages and security for all Americans.
Under our Constitution there are legal ways to enter America, and then there are the illegal ways. I believe we have at least 30 million illegal aliens here now, not that nonsense of 11 million which has supposedly not increased in the past 20 years. I do hope Trump meant it when he posted ‘Laws passed in accordance with our Constitutional system of government must be enforced.’
I am extremely disappointed in him tonight, but nevertheless the only other choice is voting for Hillary, which will destroy what is left of America, so I will still be voting for Trump with heavy heart, not trusting him much anymore, and hope that if elected, he will at least build some miles of wall.

Trump did say in a recent interview with Hannity that we have tough immigration laws and he would was going to follow the law.
