‘He was not an AMERICAN!’: Sheriff defies Obama’s order to lower flag for Mandela
bizpacreview.com | Nelson Mandela did great things for his country and was a brave man but he was not an AMERICAN!!!
I found out that aside from Mandela’s passing, there were only 4 other cases in U.S. history when U.S. flags were ordered half staff in order of foreign leaders; Pop John Paul the II, Izhak Rabin’s assassination, Sadat’s assassination and passing of natural causes of King Hussein. Can someone find out, how long were U.S. flags half staff in those 4 occasions.

Apparently a President DOES have the authority to order/request a non standard “half mast”…but..is BARRY really a CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT to do ANYTHING?

I, personally, would not consider such an order within his authority, or, within the authority of a legitimate president. I Would suggest a substantial addition to the height of all flag poles to accommodate the raising higher of the flag at obama’s demise; it what ever form it manifests.

On October 7, 1981, Ronald Reagan ordered flags at half staff until Sadat’s interment.
The funeral was October 10.

Nelson Mandela did great things for his country and was a brave man but he was not an AMERICAN!!! The flag should be lowered at our Embassy in S. Africa, but not here. Our flag is at half staff today for a Deputy in the low country who died going to help his fellow Deputy. He deserves the honor. I have ordered that the flag here at my office back up after tomorrow’s mourning of Pearl Harbor Day!

Sorry, I omitted the date for Clinton’s proclamation for Rabin. That was November 4 1995, and specified “until his interment” which was November 6 1995, the day after his murder. Again, the time zone/international date line difference could confuse the time.
On 7 February 1999, King Hussein died.
King Hussein’s funeral was held on 8 February 1999. US flags at half staff “until his interment”.
Both Rabin and Hussein were buried the day after they died, it appears.
Mandela died Thursday December 5, 2013
Obama’s proclamation was also December 05, 2013, and specified “until sunset, December 9, 2013” That is only 5 days.

do have photos of the tortured
and beaten victims .. all whites
in South Africa, along with their
accounts of what took place.
The blacks are getting away with murder,
beatings, torture of not only younger
whites but the elderly, as well.
What is going on, unchecked, is horrific.
Farm owners seem to be the main target.
