Trump Climbs Still Higher in New Poll
By Neil King Jr.
Donald Trump’s dramatic ascent in the polls continues, with him coming in tied for first now among a crop of GOP 2012 hopefuls in the latest CNN/Opinion Research Poll.
The real estate magnate and reality-show star has caught a sharp publicity updraft in recent weeks over comments about President Barack Obama’s birthplace. He boasted Monday that he was emerging as the White House’s “worst nightmare” among possible 2012 contenders.
Mr. Trump came in tied for second with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee in last week’s Wall Street Journal/NBC poll, not far behind former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. But the CNN polls puts him far higher, tied for first with Mr. Huckabee and far ahead of Mr. Romney.
Nineteen percent of Republicans polled picked Mr. Trump as their preferred nominee among a broad field of 11 potential candidates. Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin came in a distant second, with 12%, while Mr. Romney was tied at 11% with former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
Mr. Huckabee and the New York-based billionaire met privately in Manhattan over the weekend. Mr. Huckabee later said in a SiriusXM radio interview that he came away pretty much convinced that Mr. Trump will run. “I seriously believe he’s going to jump in,” he said.
Mr. Trump told our colleague Kelly Evans in a WSJ online interview that he is considering running as an independent if he falls short in the GOP nomination fight—a move, with his money and name recognition—that would scramble the 2012 race and very likely doom the Republican nominee.

Please pick Allen West as your running mate Donald.

The Donald does not need Allen West to garbage up the bill. I think Trump has enough brain matter to know that, and Trump if he runs, will pick the man best for the job. He does not have to pick someone to look politically correct. America already tried that and it did not work.

Greta with Huckabee:
We have all seen the birth certificate for the last three years (is she SERIOUS?)
Huckabee: I BELIEVE OBAMA was born in Hawaii.
Greta: I will surely get some criticism from viewers (paraphrased)

Clinton was elected because Ross Perot split the Republican Party.
I REALLY appreciate Trump’s work at exposing the fraud in the White House, but seriously wonder about his motives with the Presidency.

I hope we all are VERY careful…seems the US is ‘up for grabs’…as yesterday, Obama said he can ‘finish the job’.

Consider this a red flag Warning about Donald Trump. Trump has too many Demonrats around him, has donated to too many Demonrats and has NO record of any tea party activism whatsoever.
Now comes this:
“The man behind Donald Trump’s possible 2012 presidential campaign is a registered Democrat who voted for Barack Obama in 2008.
“Not only that, but Michael Cohen, an executive at the Trump Organization who doubles as Trump’s chief political adviser, once volunteered for 1988 presidential candidate Michael Dukakis and worked for a Democratic member of Congress.”

Sorry but I cannot shake the suspicion that Donald Trump is setting us up and will ultimately sell us out.
And I’m still waiting for him to make a substantial donation to Orly’s Defend Our Freedoms Organization.
