Governors of 35 states have already filed suit against the Federal
Government for imposing unlawful burdens upon them. It takes only 38 of
the 50 States to convene a Constitutional Convention.

An idea whose time has come!
For years and years we have been complacent about the workings of
Congress. Many citizens had no idea that members of Congress could:
1)Retire with the same pay after only one term.
2)Do not have to pay into Social Security.
3)Have specifically exempted themselves from many of the laws they have
passed (such as being exempt from any fear of prosecution for sexual
harassment) while ordinary citizens must live under those laws.
4) The latest is to exempt themselves from the Healthcare Reform in all of
its forms.
I truly don’t care if a senator or congressman is a Democrat, a
Republican, or an Independent. The self-serving, self-interest must STOP.

PLEASE DO YOUR PART:
Contact a minimum of twenty people on your address list; in turn ask each
one of them to do likewise.

In just days, most people in The United States of America will have the
following message:

Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution:

“Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United
States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives;
and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or
Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United
States .”
Take heart. We, the people, CAN take back our country and the principles
upon which it was founded! Congress is NOT an elite organization. Every
single one of them was elected to SERVE the people of this great country
and it is time every single one of them understands this.

What’s good for the goose…

    Question: Do you really trust our politicians (who have, across the board, refused to question eligibility) to modify the Constitution by a single Convention??? There are three ways to amend the Constitution. The first and third way seem safer, the second way seems dangerous. Once there is such a Convention, the second method, will anything be fair game for rewriting the Constitution?

    Article. V. – Amendment
    The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose
    Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds
    of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either
    Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the
    Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate.

    One more thing–the Constitution is just fine the way it is. The problem is that all three branches of government are ignoring it. Are we to add an amendment stating that the government must follow the Constitution? I say, leave it alone and return to it. It is plain English and the supreme law. It must be followed, not changed.

    I might AGREE to a 28th Amendment to put Congress under the same rules of new legislation as the rest of the US population, but I would NEVER agree to a Con-Con or Constitutional Convention. Someone memtioned that it only takes 38 (of the 50) States to convene a Constitutional Convention. That would be a dangerous disaster on steroids.

    A Constitutional Convention would finish off the USA.

    Unless we had a miracle we would never again get enough Godly men who believe in the Bible and Jesus, God’s Son, to write a Godly document like the one our Forefathers gave to us. It took a motion by Benjamin Franklin for our Forefathers to stop for prayer before God gave them the words to the divine document we call our Constitution.

    We had better vote for honest Christian men and women to OBEY the Constitution we have.

    With Hugo Chavez of Venzuela or some other foreigner owning the voting machines we use we may never ever get a fair election count again unless we invent our own machines and employ only Godly people to program them.

    Foreign owners now appear to be able to program the results of elections by FRAUDULENT MEANS and PROGRAMMERS WILLING TO LIE FOR A FEE. WE NEED PAPER BALLOTS AGAIN AND VOTE WATCHERS FROM THE PRECINCT TO THE RESULTS PUBLISHED BY THE SECTRETARY

    George Soros seems to be funding all the Sect. of State positions in all 50 states and wants a Democrat in each state so he can control the elections as he chooses. His kind seem content to elect RINO’s if they can’t get sold out Democrats to win. See Whistleblower of March 0f 2009 produced by WND.com.
