   That was my idea to give food instead of EBT cards – Such abuses! Such crime! — Though I think we should go back to the staples of government cheese, eggs, meats, breads, and milk the way it was in the 1970’s.

   A lot ‘food’ EBT card recipients sell them for money and then get free food from the local churches – so they get free food and then use the money to buy whatever they want – drugs, alcohol, manicures, etc.

   Wow!

   It seems that those who know nothing in D.C. about this kind of operation…

   Should not be making plans for a lot of Americans…

   The people affected will see the problem right away!

   This will complicate the entire situation…

   And they don’t know how?

   Too many “others” seem to spoil things for those people who have to work with this SNAP help.

   Where I live, no one gets away with doing illegal things…

   And anyone who knows enough about real nutrition knows that canned foods are filled with too much: salt; sugar; and other destructive ingredients to be of help to anyone, unless, of course they’re dying and it doesn’t make any difference!

   Trump does not fully realize how this is bad!

   And I am hoping that Various members of Congress will see just how obnoxious this really is!

   Those people in Congress need to be of help here…so the whole operation suggested doesn’t become a complete fiasco!

   Cause they are not the ones that will be involved with this, at the receiving end.

   And I’m hoping, too, that the states will have something to say about this…

   Since the person they can call to ask questions about something that comes up, know the people they help with a EBT Debit Card…

   And they know if the person who uses this card at the supermarket, and who is honest, will be able to trust those people…

   So that their lives won’t be disrupted trying to get food that they have no choice in the process.

   This sounds like a nwo, restrictive gestapo idea forced upon people who are capable of buying the food/drink they choose!

   This is not anyone else’s business what a person chooses to eat and drink. They can’t buy alcohol, tobacco, or cooked food with the Card, so what’s the problem?

   And…I know people who are capable of choosing their own food/drink.

   And they have a great salad each day filled with a lot of fruits and veggies.

   And they buy canned goods that are loaded with salt and sugar!

   This will become a horror program!

   These govt people are going to create a monster with this edit!

   And I’m hoping that those people in Congress who can see this “thing” for what it is:…

   A real life fiasco!

   When they concern themselves with cuts…

   Why don’t they cut their govt salaries? pensions? other perks? and cut some of the other items that are really not necessary!

   Those, we can make a long list…but look who gets all the “goodies”: too many wealthy types in business!

   This is something that doesn’t need to be “fixed!”

   Should have read: they (don’t) buy canned good loaded with salt and sugar!

   What are they going to do with anyone who is a diabetic?

   Did anyone in D.C. think about this?

   The peanut butter is loaded with tons of salt and sugar!

   I, personally, don’t eat peanut butter any more! It’s way too hard on diabetics!

   I go for the simple foods and don’t go for the expensive stuff but that’s optional and it does take someone who knows something about nutrition, such as myself!

   Then, your talking about more $$ being spent to put in that box!

   Can we see just how “open ended” this could become?

   And them in govt…if they have not gone through this in their lives, will know nothing about what a person a the SNAP Program will be required to put up with…

   This does get very complicated, in seeking out real nutrition and price.

   And then, if the experience in not so pleasant, the person involved with have a lot of problems in trying to solve this all by themselves.

   But they may have to go through how many “channels” to feel like they are part of our society, too!

   And what about seniors?

   How do you treat them?

   This is something they need to address in D.C.?

   Will they tick off one or more of them?

   Do the people in D.C. really care about the way these seniors will be forced to eat stuff they may not want????

   What is this, a Nazi camp, for prisoners?

   This is supposed to be America…

   Where people have the right to choose what they eat/drink.

   This sounds like where we would be part of some place like a nursing home, where we may not like what we haven’t been able to (go) buy items ourselves!

   Do you know how serious that is for some people?

   To not be allowed to choose our own items to have for our meals!

   How would those who can provide things for themselves feel if you had to accept someone else “ordering” for you?

   I’m hoping that our Senators and Rep’s from the states will see the difficulty this will provide to seniors!

   One will feel the need to be “in-charge” of their lives, at senior age!

   That’s why seniors want to live at home…and not in a place that’s foreign to them!

   This is also cutting off our personal freedom to make our way…as it were!

   Just too many things keep upsetting the apple cart…and other circumstances are high when one gets to be a seniro

   The leeches won’t like that one. They won’t be able to sell their food stamps if that is approved.

   Well, there are some places where the recipients do break the law…

   And this could be handled on a case by state basis…

   In Iowa, this rarely happens, as far as I know.

   We live in “May berry” here…

   The clientele who receive these food cards are basically lawful…

   Cause there is a real strict penalty for breaking this rule of trying to sell stamps for $$ or for something else.

   And they need to seriously consider granting the older generation a waiver on this being subjugated to concern themselves with being forced to accept food boxes…!

   That’s a freakin insult!

   Would anyone want to be treated like a child and to be thought of as someone not able to act responsibly?

   To treat seniors this way is a slap in the face and to tell us that they don’t think we know how to handle our own affairs!

   I’m not in the habit of trying to break rules.

   And if the states give people the chance to continue to function with the system as it were before O screwed it up, we can still have a nice experience in being able to take care of ourselves without supervision!

   I hope Congress will fight this and not allow it to become law.

   I wish they all would try that, so they wouldn’t be allowed to receive the benefits any longer!

   I’d buy that!

   And if we would get all of them illegals to be deported…

   Then, Trump would save a lot of $$ to either be saved and/or applied to some other item in the budget!

   This would probably SAVE how many millions??? or Billions???
