BROWNSVILLE —A federal judge Wednesday denied California attorney Orly Taitz’s request for a temporary restraining order against President Barack Obama and others regarding immigration policies and practices, but did not dismiss her lawsuit.
Instead, U.S. District Judge Andrew S. Hanen advised Taitz that she might have standing for the lawsuit, “if you tailor the complaint to your own damages and to your own claims.”
At the end of a near four-hour hearing in federal court in Brownsville, and in addressing her complaint and other issues regarding testimony that she seeks from several U.S. Border Patrol agents, Hanen also told Taitz, “I’m telling you no right now. I’m not telling you no forever.”
Hanen gave Taitz until Oct. 3 to amend her complaint, or petition, and gave the government’s attorneys Colin A. Kisor and Daniel D. Hu until Oct. 17 to then respond. Hanen set an injunction hearing for Oct. 29.
“It’s hard to determine what your causes of action are,” Hanen told Taitz at the onset of the hearing. He later advised that her complaint should be more concise.
This stems from the lawsuit that Taitz filed on July 14 in federal court against Obama, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell and the U.S. Border Patrol’s Rio Grande Valley Sector.
The lawsuit seeks an order to temporarily restrain authorities from transporting undocumented immigrants to other states, and that the immigrants be either immediately deported or held in quarantine for two months because, she says, they spread epidemics of scabies, tuberculosis, measles, whooping cough, swine flu, dengue fever, Ebola virus, and lice.

Come on Orly, you gotta do it. Come up with some way that young illegals being flooded in here are injuring you personally. Or bring others into the lawsuit who are being damaged, like a taxpayer in one of the ‘refuge’ areas, or a school worker carrying a heavier burden now, or hospital workers being burdened, or Border Patrol agents suffering depression from not being able to do their job properly… SOMETHING

so far the judge did not grant pro hac vice, which is a right for an out of state attorney to represent individuals in state. Without pro hac vice I cannot represent anyone else, but myself. I am extremely limited in what I can do.

It seems to me that everyone would have standing, and Dr Taitz is an attorney representing all of us. These people are moving freely in society and anyone can come in contact with them, especially Dr Taitz in her dental and legal work serving the public.

I’m getting pretty tired of the buzz word “Standing” getting thrown round. It is extremely hard to imagine that ANY U.S. citizen doesn’t have “Standing” as ILLEGAL aliens continue to hurt EVERY American. Thank you Orly for trying which is more than ANY of our elected officials are doing.

The dreadful feeling of being railroaded by our own government, on so many issues, is disheartening to say the least. You are the only beacon of light in a dark time of history, as we now see, America must lead from the front and restore stability in the world.
We cannot begin to understand the personal turmoil you must be dealing with, e.g. personal harm threats, worry about being audited (time and expense), or even city/state ‘officials’ enacting some bazaar 1800’s ordnance against your home or business. Please let me extend a truly heartfelt, “Thank You”!

For Orly to have to show personal injury is ludicrous! The impostor is bankrupting our nation in order to support these criminals for purely political purposes. It has to get bad enough for enough people to want to stop it. It is poll driven. The elections are corrupted all the way down to the grass roots. Blue states are corrupt. They run illegal candidates and stuff the ballots with undocumented voters and disqualify U.S. citizens or find a way not to count conservative votes. Short of open warfare it just has to play out.

This guy just played the game out for awhile, making it look like he would come through!
Can you try this case (with whatever needs to be included) in another state, where you have full legal expression to bring (whomever) to act as a witness?

What I would like to see if for Judge Hanen to grant your wishes.
The only problem is I don’t see that it will work. What about people that are traveling legally via flight from other countries? Should they be held in quarantine for 2 months before they’re allowed to go home when they return from whatever country they came from?
Your lawsuit could cause people a lot of problems – even you if you decide to travel outside of the US.
Oh, well. He isn’t going to do anything because you don’t have standing. You have to prove that you were actually harmed and you will also have to prove to the government that you actually treat and were infected by one of the aliens that showed up at the border during the time of crisis.
Of course, now there is no longer a crisis. The number of aliens showing up has been cut drastically. There was a short surge of refugees but that has all but stopped now.

I guess I kind of like the thought of you being subject to being held in quarantine because you traveled out of the country and returned.
But it doesn’t really matter. What I wrote before about what would happen doesn’t matter.
This case is going to be transferred to California and most likely Judge David Carter’s court.

This reminds me of the Obama ineligibility issue. The courts know the law is being violated, but they are too afraid to make a substantive ruling to prevent the violation. They delay and delay, hoping the issue will go away. Justice delayed is justice denied.
We have a judiciary, a congress, and a citizenry that refuse to stop an illegal alien in the White House from violating the law and the Constitution. Because of this, we deserve the dictatorial despot who is ruling over us.
