Union between the states is a contract. Rule against perpetuities allows rescission of any contract. When one party, Federal Government, breaches such contract, rescession becomes a necessity.

Obama’s operatives are intimidating people in believing that secession is not possible. The union between the states is a contract. Any party can rescind the contract. It is not a catholic marriage. There is a rule against perpetuities, as law abhors contracts in perpetuity, meaning forever. We are seing secetions everywhere in the world. Slovakia seceded from Chechoslovakia, 6 nations seceded from Yugoslavia, 14 nations (Republics) seceded from the Soviet Union
Secession is possible and it might become necessary due to usurpation of the US presidency by a foreign national with forged IDs and a stolen Social Security number. This means that we are a nation under occupation, it means that every US citizen is deprived of his civil rights. This makes it necessary for the citizens of different states to petition their state government to secede from an occupied nation. Maybe several states will form a new union for common defense, but people will definitely breath much more freely, if they will not be under occupation and will pay much less in taxes

I’ll take it seriously when I see a state’s legislature pass a resolution. Until then, this is just a bunch of disgruntled folks blowing off steam.

That’s right – wouldn’t each state have to vote first?
