    This should have been started years ago.

    We can’t be the sanctuary for everyone…

    This needs to be examined very thoroughly!

    “But immigrant rights advocates fear that legitimate asylum-seekers, including victims of domestic violence, could be denied sanctuary here.” This is priceless! If your husband or your wife is abusing you, go to your local police department, not the U.S. This is not reason to give anyone asylum. There are groups in the border states that go to Mexico to instruct women how to use this as an excuse to come across as an “asylum” seeker. We should implement the Mexican government immigration laws here to see how they are going to like it.
