There are some 15o openings for federal judges. So far the senate confirmed only 8 and 6 more to be confirmed next week. They have to change the rules from 30 hour debate to 3 hour debate to speed up the process

Senate Republicans confirmed one federal judge on Thursday and set the stage to confirm five more judges next week, including to federal appeals courts across the nation.
