Why not build the wall with American creativity…let any U.S. Company design murals, sculptures, etc. Post the Constitution on the wall. Have directions on Mexican side how to come legally, steps to take. Let job postings even be put on Mexican side, that could not be filled by Americans. Let Churches adopt sections. Families by a section. Water fountains, water falls. Indians could have murals. McDonald’s could advertise. A giant “billboard for America.” Artist competitions for murals. Such as portrayal of wagon trains, etc. It would not have to cost U.S. or even Mexico a penny, as companies raced to have their “part of the pie.” Have beautiful entry ways, welcoming. Have viewpoints with restaurants. Make it a spectacular friendly “wall,” to guide entry to proper portals, not to block entry! Have traveler hostels on Mexico side, for refugees coming from south, to get proper help and to figure out when and where they could come. Have towns in U.S. and churches sign up for integration, to “adopt” people entering, who need sponsors. It does not have to be a “negative wall.” Something beautiful. For some reason, the countries south of us seem to take the money for the high upper class and suppress the “lower class” and proper schooling, shelter, etc. are not provided. We need to spread literacy, jobs, and help these countries thrive, so their people do not flee from their homelands.
