Tea party changed the Boehner bill, now it has a requirement of the balanced budget before any more debt increases

Tea party took a stand an the new Boehner bill has a requirement of passage of the balanced budget amendment to the Constitution to be passed by Congress by 2012 as a prerequisite for further increase in debt.
Senate might not pass it, but it places the senators due for reelection into a very precarious position, as people understand, that this nation is going down the drain by spending nearly twice what it makes.
Considering the fact that for 2 years Obama operated without any budget and spent like a drunken sailor, this is a very sobering message to Obama.
I commend the Tea party Congressmen for taking the stand and including this amendment.

You should use care when walking into your office as a mad Muslim could come up behind you and shoot you in the head.

Well, that bill died a quick death. The Tea Party must not understand that there is a Democratic-controlled Senate. Should we clue them in or let them discover it on their own?

We in the Tea Party understand that we have a monetary system that is based on debt or, to be more specific, the promise to repay debt. A balanced budget amendment could be used as a first step to eliminating the source of what gives the government the power to create such massive debt and burdening the private sector taxpayer with its repayment- with interest! That source is the Federal Reserve banking system and its fractional reserve banking structure. Just as George Bush was a slave to this privately owned group of banks so is Obama.
