Stop attacking Huckabee, Obama himself admits that he lived in Kenya during his childhood.

Obama: Africa lessons; look ahead. En route back to U.S.

By Lynn Sweet on September 3, 2006 8:40 AM | 4 Comments

N’DJAMENA, Chad–Sen. Barack Obama departed this capital city Sunday morning, en route on an Army military aircraft to Frankfort, Germany to catch a commercial flight back to the United States.

He leaves wtih a “great urgency” to pressure the U.S. and other players to force Sudan to accept a United Nations peackeeping force in the Darfur region. Obama’s last stop was at a refugee camp near the Chad-Sudan border where some 15,333 people who fled Janjaweed violence live. Of those he talked to, they told him almost to a person they want to return-but cannot unless there are UN troops there to guarantee their safety.

After this major Africa swing–he left Washington on Aug. 18–the Illinois Democrat revs up a heavy political schedule in advance of the November elections, stumping in Iowa on Sept. 17, a stop in the early presidential caucus state that fuels speculation about whether the White House is in his future.

Obama launches his national book tour for his second book Oct. 17 in Chicago.

He reflected on his trip at the back of a plane on Saturday, talking above the roar of the engines to the three print reporters who have been covering his trip.

Obama’s next big international journey will be in 2007r–he’s looking at China, India and Indonesia, “where ironicall I actually have more of a childhood than I do in Kenya.’

This quote seeems, to me, far more suggestive of a childhood in Indonesia — which he has admitted; as his Indonesian school records show Indonesian citizenship and being of the Muslim religon — than it is of a childhood in Kenya.

I read this quote as an admission of an ‘absence’ of a childhood in Kenya.

    Orly,

With all due respect, I beg to differ with you.

Yes, he might have been there in his childhood, but that’s not the main point here.
We need to attack Huckabee for his fear of the media, fear of coming out with a strong message. He needs to come out in the strongest terms possible:
“We are here to get to the bottom of this fraud!”
As long as he tries to find favor in the eyes of the MSM, I didn’t mean this, I meant that, etc. he has lost all credibility in my eyes. Any candidate that can not come out full force on this issue (Gingrich included), does not deserve to get our support!

Huckabee needs to be attacked for his ignorance!! It wouldn’t matter if Obama had been born in the White House, he has identified his father as a Kenyan and therefore this keeps him from being Natural Born Citizen. It specifically states in our founding documents, to be NBC you must be born of two US Citizen Parents. Actually, I find Huckabee as ignorant as Obama. Wake up America.

one thing for sure, today huckabee just lost his last chance to get me and perhaps 40 more local kinfolk and friends to vote for him

he doesnt want states passing elegibility laws? who is he sucking up to? this is the reason we need a true patriot running for potus.. and HE IS NOT IT..

hopefully someone will run who challenges obama on this issue even if he/she doenst have a chance of running

ARE YOU GAME DR ORLY lol

Well:…if Huck thought there was nothing wrong with saying (Obama spent part of his childhood in Kenya) why did he retract the statement, when asked in an interview?

The problem I have with him now is that he believes that Obama was born in Hawaii…! That’s enough for me! I won’t vote for him!

Then why did Huckabee backtrack and say he made a mistake?

Can any of us truly agree with THIS conjecture by Huckabee?

He will have to remove his rose color glasses to tackle USURPATION of the executive branch!

Huckabee is the one that stated what he believed was factual, where did he get ‘his’ facts from? It conflicts with the fabled nativity of Barack Abdallah Husein Obama and Huck’s attempt to retract that tidbit is what’s causing the issue. Obama himself stated his childhood in Kenya.

Obama’s wife stated that he was a ‘Kenyan’ that Kenya is his ‘Home Country’

It’s proven more and more that the elected officials are being told what to say and what not to question.

Given Huckabee a pass is no different then allowing an illegal undocumented foreigner like Obama a pass on producing his bona fides.
It’s time we held them and the media mouth pieces to the law.

    ABDALLAH?

That must be the answer to Orly’s question about what the A in Barack A. Obama stands for.

    Thank you, syc1959.

    Dr. Taitz,
I also beg to differ with you on why Huckabee deserves to be criticised for questioning Obama’s Kenyan connections. Huckabee is a craven poitician who will make deals with, consort with, and align himself with anyone if he thinks it will advance his cause or agenda and career. Huckabee is the weakest possible Republican “front runner” and will never receive my vote in the primaries. You were once rightfully critical of Bachman for not being proactive in advancing the effort to expose Obama as a fraud. His actions and statements have robbed him of what little credibility he had on this vital issue the moment he went on to The O’Reilly Factor and threw the “birthers” under the bus.

I agree with you, Mr. Doak, and this is why Huckabee and others who covet the Republican crown eschew “birthers.”

They feel that supporting Constitutional enforcement of the Natural Born Clause will garner them undesired ridicule.

In order to inoculate themselves from their feared retribution, they demean those who adamantly demand that the Constitution be enforced and also maintain that there is OPEN FRAUD, DECEIT, and a de facto “decapitation” of our executive branch right under the noses of noble and worthy citizens.

Huckabee’s disdain is unwarranted salt in the collective wound.

He ought really to be ashamed of himself for being so undisciplined and self-centered.

His haughtiness towards Constitutionalists belies his true character which is not in synch with his carefully cultivated image.

He will neither be the Republican candidate in 2012 nor the president, as he is unable and unwilling to put the Constitution BEFORE his own aspirations.

“Pride goeth before a fall,” and he should know that better than anyone.
