Senate Plan Now Makes Individual Tax Cuts Temporary, Keeps Corporate Cuts Permanent. We need to call all the GOP senators and demand that the individual tax cuts be permanent, just as corporate, or this is a rip off, particularly considering end of all deductions

Once taxpayers have had a cut for 10 years and the economy is, hopefully, growing steady at 3% or more, no Congress at that time is going to allow the cuts to expire…….it they want to be reelected. If they do let the cuts expire it means the country is so blue that the battle is over and capitalism has officially lost.

There is no tax bill that will make everyone happy, but doing nothing would leave us with a much worse tax system than ANY of the proposed tax changes. Everyone will not get what they want.

Removal of deductions can be a good thing. It simplifies doing taxes and it does not necessarily mean paying more taxes. That depends on the overall tax code, not one cherry-picked part of it.
